Partnership agreement between the Japanese Company Hitachi High-Technologies and CNRS

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

The partnership agreement between the Japanese company HHT and CNRS, the representative of the CEMES laboratory, is the result of five years of concerted efforts in the field of electron microscopy. It includes three parts: «I2TEM», «New electron sources based on carbon nanotube» and the project «FemtoTEM.»

The first is aimed to the optimization and upgrading of a single instrument already in operation, the second to transfer to HHT developments made at CEMES. The third part, which intends to maintain exchanges on developments made by both partners, may eventually lead to the realization of a new instrument combining the progress made by each of them.
